Looks like this page needs some editing of the links. Not sure many of these pass the Links to be avoiced standards. I propose we link to DMOZ categories that include the commercial links currently in this article. FreedomWorks! 17:47, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

With no objections registered, I'll procede to remove "Links to sites that primarily exist to sell products or services." However, although I am not associated with the ski resorts in any way, it makes sense to leave their links intact in that they are the primary reason Park City isn't just another Utah mining ghost town. An anonymous editor (71.105.153.64) went much further than my efforts to clean up the links section, with no explanation for his/her radical surgery. I undid his/her edits feeling that the sites 71.105.153.64 removed were informational and were not "Links to sites that primarily exist to sell products or services." Together, they gave a fairly rounded view of Park City. I invite 71.105.153.64 to share his/her justifications here for removing the links she/he did. FreedomWorks! 06:21, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs some serious work. The history section is written like an advertisement, with uncited facts all over. I think it should be flagged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.110.232.68 (talk) 13:54, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A trivia section? Really???? This is not a wikia page, it is an actual (to a point) encyclopedia! I think we should remove the trivia section. It is unnesseary, unprofessional, and frankly does not belong on wikipedia. Hyperskier96 (talk) 22:53, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics and the 2010 Census

[edit]

Most data in the Demographics section reflects data available from the new US Census Bureau database. I couldn't find income data from the 2010 census so I left the last paragraph as it was except to note that those data were from the 200 census. --Trappist the monk (talk) 13:05, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure who is responsible for this but city limits of Park City do not extend into Wasatch County. The city limits end out the county line and all the development in the "East Park" and McHenry's Canyon areas of Deer Valley are not part of Park City legally. Someone may want to correct that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mercwyn (talkcontribs) 21:37, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
