It is potentially dangerous to take Nytol with alcohol,

[edit]

This needs a reference, otherwise it is superfluous and seems to be just something added by someone from the "alcohol is dangerous/we want prohibition again" groups. Djp (talk) 09:28, 26 February 2009

I agree, "It is potentially dangerous to take Nytol with alcohol," needs a reputable reference- furthermore- if the dangers were substantial, it would state on the packaging that "this should not be taken with alcohol"

I propose to remove this spurious line unless evidence is served.

The comment was far too preachy and alarmist, while the drug can be dangerous even taking 4 to 6 times the recommended dose is not enough of threat to a healthy adult to go to a hospital unless its obvious something is very wrong with their heartbeat or breathing. Help keep ERs for real problems, not teens with clueless/alarmist parents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.243.97.180 (talk) 03:39, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

claims about the medical effects of the drug on sleep quality are likely false
