Creating article

[edit]

I am in the process of creating the page and gathering information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DustoneGT (talkcontribs) 23:26, 15 October 2009‎

There were several dispute tags on the page, but nobody justified most of them here on the talk page. Feel free to add them again, but give people something to work with to improve it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.123.203.26 (talk) 04:30, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Facts in dispute were referenced to secondary sources, and additional secondary sources were added. Some wrong facts were cleaned up, and remaining dispute tags were removed. Article could still use some improvement in the history area, but current facts are cited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.123.203.26 (talk) 04:48, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The sourcing is still weak, and still prone to relying on primary sources. Surely there are books which have discussed this stuff over the century? --Orange Mike | Talk 17:30, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Most, possibly all, of the article's reference links seem to be "dead links" leading to "404 pages" and idle domains.

The passages making assertions about "criminal elements in the legislature" would benefit from some backing from multiple reliable mutually supportive sources -- or lacking that some more neutral phrasing that doesn't make assertions about legislative criminality without sourced elaboration.
