Current Projects

[edit]

Here follows a section I'm moving from the article. Added by User:137.186.174.106 (contribs), who I suppose to probably be Wolf Child or a colleague, it isn't to my knowledge documented with published sources like the rest of the article. It also needs copyediting and wikification. Posted here for now at least ad interim. Samaritan 08:01, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since 1995, Myron Wolf Child has acted as Official Youth Leader of the Youth Government of the Kainaiwa Nation (also known as Kainai Youth Council). Wolf Child is also a member of the Aboriginal Youth Advisory Committee to the Alberta Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development. Wolf Child is currently learning how to play panio and will join a band along with his step-brother known as the "Moses Lakers." In addition to his official duties, Wolf Child acts as Senior Advisor to the Head Chief of the Blood Tribe.
Wolf Child is still considering whether to join the Holy Roman Catholic Priesthood after he completes his degree in political science, as his life was inspired by the late John Paul II. If Wolf Child does not join the priesthood, he'll continue on with this law studies.
In his official role, Wolf Child's Official Office MIISINSKI MAKOIYIIPOKA House plays an important role in acting as a student, leader, motivational speaker, politican and writer.

Criminal charges

[edit]

Wolf Child's political office has been instructed to ensure that only actual information is published online or in the media. If there continues to be citations of the Herald's article, we will be forced to take legal action and have the article itself deleted.

Wolf Child's case is unique and the Herald was informed of the potential damage that it could do to itself by publishing the non-sense. An intern from Wolf Child House has been delegated to check it every 12 hours and to delete fictional information or damaging information. Wolf Child has not pleaded anything and no jury has been selected. Everything is on recess.

Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.107.99.199 (talkcontribs) 14:28, 16 August 2006

Wikipedia does not publish original research. We simply publish either publicly known information or information from other sources. The Lethbridge Herald is such a source. If you have information to the contrary to that reported by the Lethbridge Herald, please provide a citable source (preferably online for verifiability). If you continue to blank the article or revert valid changes, your IP address will be banned from editing on Wikipedia. --Kmsiever 03:30, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Death

[edit]

Who is reporting that Wolf Child is dead? We heard reports that he is suffering from cancer, but this?

Please check into it.

Thanks! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 142.66.21.192 (talkcontribs) 21:20, 11 September 2006.

Mr. Wolf Child has passed away, why is this not being documented like it should be?
Do you need to see the death certificate??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 142.66.21.60 (talkcontribs) 20:23, 13 September 2006.
A death certificate would be nice, but an article or obituary in the Lethbridge Herald would suffice. --Kmsiever 03:40, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For the record, I just passed Myron in the hall at the U of L. He was very much alive when I saw him. --Kmsiever 22:00, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Politics Canada

[edit]

A individual purporting to be Wolf Child has made several posts on the politics simulator (polsim) Politics Canada at www.politicscanada.net/game. Is this worth mentioning? --JJE 17:47, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Message from Wolf Child

[edit]

While Myron John (MJ) Wolf Child wishes to not make any public statement about anything that is written or published on this web-site, he does submit the following:

"It is difficult for me to understand why rumors were posted in the first time, such as any cancer I may have or death that was published. I would hope that the organization that handles this web-site, continues to show the same respect that I have come to expect.

While I want my personal life to remain private, I would hope the public gives me some time." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.186.177.151 (talk) 04:05, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you are Wolf Child or are acting on his behalf, it is not normally considered proper for you to be editing this biography, instead, it is normally the responsibility of impartial editors and administrators. Information that is in the public domain but you don't wish to be present on Wikipedia shouldn't be removed.

If you wish to have erroneus or slanderous information removed, please contact me, an admin or the Wikimedia foundation, but I'll be happy to help. I can't remove anything that is in the public domain that you simply don't want people to know about though. If it's in the public domain and it's of interest or notability, it probably belongs on Wikipedia. Best Wishes Heligoland 23:38, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A malpractice law suit has been filed against The Lethbridge Herald. The same will be done with this organization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.186.177.151 (talk)

The uploader of the photo claims to be MWC himself, so my suggestion is we should confirm this information. Though, from what I could look, this is the same photo used on the CBC, so I would not be surprised if this was the official campaign photo used as part of a "press kit." I would suggest someone would try to email him and find out what is going on. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 03:12, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
