He is to my knowledge the first to found a noncensored (internet-)television channel in Libya - perhaps even in North Africa. The article should be expanded: Is anything known about his education, family background, political/media activity befour the uprising?134.155.36.48 (talk) 18:09, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As with everyone else, if you find the information, add it.
There's no point saying "expand the article" when people will do so anyway.
You could instead spend that time looking for it so that you could add it yourself. A F K

Confusion

[edit]

Isn't there a huge confusion here between the U.S. funded Al-Hurra channel, which has existed since 2004 and broadcasts U.S. programs, and the webstream channel founded by Mohammed Nabbous? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.248.163.175 (talk) 23:47, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This confusion is because the names of the two channels are similar. The Nabbous-Channel is NOT linked to the US-funded Al-Hurra channel whatsoever. I haven't seen any evidence that substantiates this link.134.155.36.48 (talk) 21:16, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
