Kenan's son was Mahalalel, from mahalal, which means "blessed" or "praise"; and El, the name for God. Thus, Mahalalel means "the Blessed God." Often Hebrew names included El, the name of God, as Dani-el, "God is my Judge," Nathani-el, "Gift of God," etc.

We all come from Mahalalel. We descend from him.

[edit]

All humanity comes from Mahalalel. All humans come from Mahalalel. He is our ancestor. We come from him. He lived on the Asian continent. He lived during 895 years. His is our common ancestor. Mahalalel is the ancestor of humanity. Mahalalel is the common ancestor of humanity. 90.16.180.172 (talk) 21:53, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mahalalel is the great-great-great-grandfather of Noah. We are all the descendants of Mahalalel. 90.16.180.172 (talk) 21:54, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are you a troll? Please read WP:NPOV: you may not state your religious beliefs as objective fact, in the voice of Wikipedia. Tgeorgescu (talk) 22:19, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am no troll. I only say that Mahalalel is the founder of the humanity , our ancestor , our common ancestor. We come from Mahalalel. Our familly tree begins with Mahalalel passing through Noach. Mahalalel is our ancestor of humanity through Noach. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.16.180.172 (talk) 09:01, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a troll , really not. We descend from Mahalalel by Noah. The humans come from Mahalalel by Noah.90.16.180.172 (talk) 09:05, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

His name is Mahalalel. He lived in Asia , more precisely in West Asia , he lived during 895 years. His name means praises of God. Mahalalel is the ancestor of the humanity. All humans come from Mahalalel.

[edit]

I do not want to state my religious beliefs, but I want you to know who is the ancestor of all humans 90.16.180.172 (talk) 09:13, 17 April 2018 (UTC).[reply]

That's not an objective fact, it is mythology (though you may call it theology). History it ain't for sure. Tgeorgescu (talk) 11:12, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a reference for him having lived in Asia? The other information about lineage is already represented in the article in the standards of wikipedia WP:NPOV. Wcichello (talk) 15:59, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I just say it. If we come from Noah , we come from Mahalalel too. Noach is our ancestor , thus , Mahalalel is our ancestor too. Noach himself comes from Mahalalel. Mahalalel is his great-great-great-grandfather. 2.6.244.98 (talk) 22:36, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mahalalel is our common ancestor. Perfectly, before Noah. We are his descendants. Mahalalel is the great-great-great-great-grandfather of Sem, Cham , Japhet. He is one of the founders of the humanity. 2.6.244.98 (talk) 22:39, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a productive way to use the talk page. Alephb (talk) 23:34, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelevant argument

[edit]

Even if the book of Genesis were taken as completely factual, Genesis 6:4 states that "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days - and also afterward..." so unless one of Noah's children or their wives were Nephilim, then they weren't the only survivors of the global deluge (if it was actually global, and not just regional). So a statement like, "All humanity descends from Noah" isn't even verifiable in scripture. Wcichello (talk) 17:29, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
