This article is entirely unreadable in a sense of "First, then, then, and lastly"

It has more bulletpoints than 20 Powerpoint slideshows.

Lacking in photographs

[edit]

Lacking in photographs of the living quarters / experiment as a whole.

Professional wiki guys could you make my comment into one of those nifty "this article needs more piccies" type criticism?

(Comment by user 24.220.246.220) -- ellol (talk)

The main problem with getting pictures for this article is that the official pictures are not released under a suitable license (for example the ESA pictures are all 'for non-commercial use only', which is not compatible with Wikipedia). Therefore I don't see any point in tagging the article, as it seems unlikely to be filled in the short term. I see people have tried to contact ESA in the past, I might have another go. I'm a bit out-of-touch with WP policies these days, but doesn't this come under one of the "no other way to get pictures" type exemptions? It's not like some editor on holiday is going to be able to take some snapshots of the inside of the "craft". 93.97.184.230 (talk) 18:52, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a good picture, where they 'finally fixed the anti-gravity machine' from here Penyulap talk 12:47, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

General Grammar Correction and Proofreading Needed

[edit]

The article appears to have been written by an individual speaking English as a second language and contains several sentences which are difficult to understand. For example, "Experiment facility locates at the Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP) of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow" should be "The experiment will take place at the Russian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP) in Moscow, Russia." The article contains several other sentences with grammatical errors similar to this.

Another IP user and myself have started working on this, but there is plenty more to do! Peter 21:23, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
I note with confusion the mention of "two EU citizens and a Chinese citizen" in the third and final mission. I see one person from France and the other from Colombia? Something's not quite right there. Looking at the original BBC article, it seems Mr. Urbina is Italian-Colombian. My mistake. --ScientificBuccaneer (talk) 04:27, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've just gone over the article and tried to clean up what I could. Feel free to adjust if necessary. 70.66.215.159 (talk) 00:33, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion caused by wikiproject spaceflight banner

[edit]

Why on Earth (pun intended) is this within Wiki Project United States? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.133.180 (talk) 21:51, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I just brought that up on the spaceflight talkpage for you. I expect the image of the Lunar craft is the problem. Penyulap talk 02:24, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion I mentioned is here I've made some assumptions, so please comment if I am correct of not, also, everyone is invited to comment there if they wish. Penyulap talk 16:40, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Congratulations on a great article, very instructive and pointing to the future. Thanks! Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 14:50, 20 January 2012 (UTC) In improving, keep what is great![reply]

Edits by Fry09 need *SERIOUS* english grammar correction

[edit]

The most recent edits by "Fry09" are not written in grammatically correct English. Rather, they appear to be written in the user's native language and then translated with Babel fish. While the information appears to be factual, the inappropriate writing will make it hard to confirm the validity and give the overall appearance of inaccuracy. These sections need to either be deleted or re-written by a knowledgeable English speaker/writer. 174.111.110.6 15:46, 20 February 2012

Edits by Penyulap need slightly less serious grammar correction

[edit]

I had a bit of a go at it, I think his work is fantastic, and I am glad you brought it up on the talkpage, I would have hated to have seen any of that deleted. This article is going places ! Anyhow I trashed it, my own grammar is appalling, hopefully the next editor will add a bit of polish to it as well. Also I note he has English listed as one of his languages, and he's not all that bad at it, but your right of course. Penyulap talk 07:26, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rtnews template

[edit]

I've removed the Russia Today news template from the page, as it had raised concern because it pointed to a single trending news page, rather than a selection of trend pages, and after discussion in the appropriate places, it's easier to remove it than it is to add lots of other trend pages, as I don't know of any (don't have time to look). If there are any comments, concerns, or suggestions please reply on my talkpage, as I don't watch this page. Penyulap 02:26, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Modules

[edit]

The "Facility" section describes habitable, medical, and storage modules, and a landing module simulator. The pictures, however, are merely labelled EC-50, EC-100, EC-150, and EC-250, with further text in French. I am assuming that EC-50 is the landing module, EC-100 the medical module, EC-150 the habitable module, and EC-250 the storage module, but it would be helpful to actually have these correlations in the article's text. 73.186.162.89 (talk) 01:13, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Tank (2017), film

This study was the premise for the 2017 film, ‘The Tank’. Maybe worth noting somewhere. Mldurban (talk) 01:12, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
