Questions
[edit]Two things:
- I didn't know whether to put it first name last name or last name, first name, since there weren't anyother entries with both first and last names.
- If Humma Kavula is a former space pirate by time he is seen, would he still be in the list?

1 thing: Why does this exist? Who would possibly want this? I think this is funny, but it's really quite pointless.
- Agreed. - Centrx 01:07, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ditto. I'm recommending this for deletion. --Awiseman 20:36, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
As a student looking into the space pirate genre (don't ask), it's super useful. -- Sydneycombs 015:05, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
Cleanup
[edit]This article badly needs cleanup. I'm going to remove everything without some kind of link to another Wikipedia page as a start. --AW 16:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Reavers
[edit]Why, exactly, are Reavers listed as "space pirates" in this list, while the main characters (the entire crew of Serenity, either directly or by association) are guilty of at least one act of space piracy every episode? Steamboat28 (talk) 14:28, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know if the Reavers can be called pirates, but I know this: the crew of Serenity are not space pirates. They are smugglers. Being a smuggler is not the same as being a pirate. I can't think of a single incedent where the crew of Serenity commited piracy. Sure, they've done good old fashion theft, but none of it could be defined as "space piracy". Mal and his crew are smugglers/theifs, not pirates. 151.203.165.170 (talk) 07:46, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Raiders
[edit]Should include the "Raiders" from Babylon 5 - no direct article to link to alas. 203.56.94.11 (talk) 04:45, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- I'll look into that one too. --Historyday01 (talk) 06:30, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
My Life as a Teenage Robot
[edit]2 whole episodes centered around them, why no mention? 75.118.170.35 (talk) 16:10, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
Sure, they can be mentioned, if not here, then on the Space pirate page.--Historyday01 (talk) 06:30, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Star Trek
[edit]Should The Outrageous Okona be listed here? If Han Solo qualifies, I don't see why not.

(Have uguise heard of Star Trek? It's pretty cool, you should check it out.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.101.56.72 (talk) 01:49, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
Well, we have some Star Trek entries, but I'll look into that stuff and see if I can add anything else. --Historyday01 (talk) 06:30, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Hey, Admin!
[edit]Get your act together and block that unregistered "Buttpiratry" user from vandalising this page.
I gave him a warning on his talk page that disruptive editing would get him banned. I hope it works. LoneWolf1992 (talk) 22:13, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
That fool's still doing it. Can't they block his IP address?
Mark Watney
[edit]In The Martian, the character of Mark Watney gives an explanation of how he is technically a "space pirate" because he commits what is legally an act of piracy by commandeering a vehicle from another country without permission, while on another planet. I think we should include this. bd2412 T 03:56, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
- bd2412, thanks for mentioning that! There is an entry now, but I haven;t added in that YouTube video yet, so I'll have to do that. Historyday01 (talk) 06:28, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know that the YouTube link is necessary in the article. BD2412 T 06:23, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
- Perhaps so.--Historyday01 (talk) 14:06, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
