[edit]

As an example, Ecumenical Patriarch Gregory V of Constantinople was from Constantinople and not Istanbul, and yet he lived well after 1453. Currently this is a discussion that needs to be taken up by the Greek and Turkish Wikipedians cooperation board in order to establish a good way to proceed, for this could possibly be contentious and we don't want any fighting.
