You've got to be kidding me? How is John Schrader not significant? He is a major San Francisco-area broadcast personality and certainly worthy of inclusion here on Wikipedia.

Why not delete the pages for the rest of the KNBR dj's? I think you jumped the gun and are overzealous with your trigger finger, sport. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aaronproot (talkcontribs)

Without more research I'm not sure about whether this particular host is sufficiently notable or not, but there's definitely an assertion of notability here. As such, this should be a {{prod}} or an AFD, not a speedy. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 03:42, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I mispelled his name. It should be "John Shrader." That should make Googling him far easier. My name is Aaron Proot.

John Shrader is the main sports anchor for the highest rated sports station in the United States (a radio station btw, with a signal that blankets the west coast and reaches to Hawaii). He is also a play by play announcer for a major league sports team. For these two reasons alone, he deserves a Wiki entry. My name is Aaron Proot.

First: Please sign your posts like this: ~~~~ Second: I haven't found some of this on a search and the most important thing he has done is sideline reporting. I love arena football, but I don't know if it qualifies "Major League Sports Team." That phrase seems to imply the big five. Article has five days to be fixed up. What does Aaronproot 03:54, 19 May 2006 (UTC) do? Aaronproot 03:54, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I admit fault, my apologies. Yanksox 04:24, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other work?

[edit]

I've seen pages indicating that Shrader was also a sportscaster for University of Nebraska football ('78-'80), and that he did broadcasts for the San Jose Earthquakes, but I can't find satisfactory sources for either one, so I'm leaving them out. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 04:36, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure he worked for the Earthquakes. Will research that. Thanks for your help. Aaronproot 13:37, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Replaced Kuiper

[edit]

This guy is not as good as Kuiper was. Kuiper was much more lively and funloving. Shrader is just boring.
