Date of death
[edit]The paper had it wrong and the page has been edited to show June 6 as the date of death. If you dispute it...try asking me ...his daughter. Stacey1970 (talk) 02:57, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Stacey1970: We have no evidence that you are his daughter. Even if you are, the WP:Verifiability policy says we prefer reliable, published sources over first-hand accounts and original research. —C.Fred (talk) 03:00, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
If you would like how about his death certificate ...would that help. The paper im Greenville is inaccurate ..and I will contact them. And I AM is daughter... Stacey1970 (talk) 03:05, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Stacey1970: Then you should really not be editing the article at all, because of your conflict of interest. Please make any requested edits here on the talk page—and you will have to cite published sources to back up the changes. —C.Fred (talk) 03:08, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
I don't have a conflict when it comes to the death of my dad. Stacey1970 (talk) 03:13, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Stacey1970: Yes, you do. All children have a conflict of interest on articles related to their parents. —C.Fred (talk) 03:15, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
- Escalating to WP:COIN. —C.Fred (talk) 03:20, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
Why don't you remove the incorrect reference and site those that are accurate...that can be found as well as the word of the family. Your date of death is WRONG'!!!! Stacey1970 (talk) 03:36, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
- If you'd pointed out the Star-Telegram story to begin with, this would've gone quicker and smoother. —C.Fred (talk) 03:43, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
Look I don't edit wiki articles but this one obviously caught my attention. Smooth is not in he cards for me right now...unfortunately. Thank you and have a good night. Stacey1970 (talk) 03:48, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
