Birthplace

Jim Pattison was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and not in Luseland. His parents did reside in Luseland at the time of his birth but his mother traveled to Saskatoon prior to his birth in order that he could be born in the hospital in Saskatoon.

Contradictions

Why a Philanthropist

Anyone who goes to church is expected to donate 10% to the church as a tithe. This guy is not overly generous in terms of percentages (10%).
