Italics?

[edit]

MOS:Ety suggests that Wikipedia "prefers italics for phrases in other languages and for isolated foreign words that do not yet have everyday use in non-specialized English." My feeling is that Jeune École does not have everyday use in non-specialized English, so ought to be italicized. Objections? Pburka (talk) 22:54, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've made this change. Feel free to revert if I've done wrong. Pburka (talk) 00:43, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Contemporaneous Alternative / Contradictory Naval Theories

[edit]

Would the reader benefit from a section or subsection below 'Influences' that details Alternative / Contradictory naval theories of that time such as those of Mahan (decisive fleet engagement) to put this subject into context? One would not talk about Clausewitz without mentioning Jomini and as Mahan is an equivalent seminal figure in Naval theory this article should stand as a counterpoint to his ideas.
