Inkawasi

[edit]

Should the first bold term used in the article, Inkawasi, redirect to this article title? - dcljr (talk) 01:20, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

this is not an island!

I don't think anyone is saying it is an 'island'. It is called an island because it resembles an island but I am sure there is a correct geographical term for this phenomenon which perhaps needs to be added to the article. for me what is more extraordinary is that "isla" means "island" in Quechua. What an amazing coincidence that it also means "island" in Spanish, or is there an error here. Richard Avery (talk) 07:27, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe it is a monadnock, but I'm no geology expert. Richard Avery (talk) 07:40, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
