I placed some tags on the article. Promotional content must be removed, and references aded. In particular, advertisements for future meets and extensive contact details are the sort of thing that's always considered promotional. I advise making them very quickly, before the article gets nominated for deletion by a regular deletion process. In fact, the promotionalism is so pervasive, that I almost decided to take more direct action, and speedy delete it as G11. But possibly enough can be rescued.
