The gallery us being a bit troublesome, if it doesn't update soon, the image needed is 'Lidget Towers.jpg' (note incorrect spelling). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mtaylor848 (talk • contribs) 22:08, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
- The file is File:Lidget Towes.jpg - note 2 spelling errors! I have fixed the page. Keith D (talk) 23:26, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
'Samosa Park'
[edit]This seemed to be added on 8th of October here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gledhow&diff=prev&oldid=1249199101, the only citation is that of a google maps link which has a bunch of reviews attached created at roughly the same time a lot of the users have also only reviewed a separate 'Achari Indian Kitchen'. I live in the area and have never heard anyone call this park by 'Samosa Park', nor is there any mention other than google maps and this wikipedia page. I'm not sure that this is a legitimate addition. Snus-kin (talk) 10:22, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have cut out the reference to Samosa & bin & bench as nothing else to corroborate, and just left the detail from the report. Can be readded if there is anything else reliable to support. Keith D (talk) 22:01, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable, thanks Keith Snus-kin (talk) 19:59, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
Gledhow Valley Woods
[edit]Hi, I'm a university student learning the world of Wikipedia editing and was wondering if the Gledhow Valley Woodland merited its own section given it's size and the amount of information associated with it. Certainly mention of the type of woodland, more detailed history of the area and it's associations with the various historic buildings around it like the Lodge, the mountain biking ramps that are occasionally set up and more could be included? I have more historic details about the woodland and general Gledhow area from a few sources, some of which have been briefly cited in the article already. Let me know what you think or if there are any other details that could be researched and improved upon in this article. Ea Nasirr (talk) 20:39, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
