Convictions involving family violence
[edit]I spoke with a lawyer acquaintance of mine who practices criminal law in Allen, Texas. Apparently, convictions that include findings of family violence cannot be expunged. This law was passed a few years ago.
I'm not an expert on the topic and, regrettably, I've been unable to find an online source for this. I'm hoping an expert can jump in and add this content.

Bush "controversies" section
[edit]I've removed this section because (a) the referenced article has been deleted, and (b) because of the misleading way it used the reference. The newspaper article in question in fact talked about the controversy surrounding Hatfield's book, not one about then-candidate Bush. Mangoe (talk) 09:54, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
- Sounds like an unsourced conspiracy theory. Afronig (talk) 03:10, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
Should this be a stand-alone article
[edit]Is there a reason this article shouldn't be merged into Expungement in the United States? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arllaw (talk • contribs) 15:07, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
