He is one of the most influential and greatest rappers of all time

Someone deleted off his introduction that he was one of the greatest rappers alive. Whoever did this needs to bring it back. Nebraska321 (talk) 10:36, 19 January 2020 (UTC) Hi, please see Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. "One of the greatest rapper alive" is not a fact and is a statement that was probably added to the article by a fan. It is not encyclopedic content but simply someone's opinion, this is probably why they removed it; I would too. WikiSmartLife (talk) 17:12, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

I would understand putting "he is considered by many as one of the greatest rappers of all time" because that's an objective fact, but saying that someone is the greatest at anything is just an opinion no matter how good they might be. CarterLennon (talk) 16:32, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Can we use a new picture?

Hello! I don't really like the main image we're currently using for Eminem, half of his face is covered by the microphone and his face looks all sweaty and it just isn't the best representation of him. I suggest we change it to this photo since it's the most recent photo we have with his new beard and it's of decent quality, but if we're not able to change it to that photo can we at least change it to this photo? It's a much better silhouette of Eminem. Thank you. CarterLennon (talk) 16:24, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

The one you just inserted is worse imo. Bad quality and you cant fully see his face Binho24 (talk) 23:27, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

The quality of the other image is certainly better, but the new image is how he currently looks and I think that's currently more important. And you can't fully see his face in the photo I replaced either. CarterLennon (talk) 21:59, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

New picture?

Can we have a new picture? I'd be willing to look for a new one and insert it. This current one blocks his face with the mic and it isn't even clearly visible. Sorta doesn't look like Eminem.SenatorLEVI (talk) 07:36, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Sure man how do we do that

Semi-protected edit request on 26 December 2020

Hi,

my edit request is to remove "Music To Be Murder By - Side B" present in studio album list of Eminem's page because it's a deluxe edition of the origin studio album "Music To Be Murder By" and in other similar cases like "Relapse Refill" the deluxe edition is not present in studio album list.

Thanks, Best regards. Lambrateboy (talk) 03:54, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Could you please list all of the changes that you wish be made? Alternatively, your account by now should be old enough so if you have made edits elsewhere you should be able to change this yourself. Add "actor" to Eminem's list of professions 68.160.242.221 (talk) 20:33, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

He is not an actor. The article has no filmography section. He has been in a movie many years ago, done some voice work or cameos. Hardly an "actor" and not what he is noted for. Robvanvee 09:37, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Eminem

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Eminem's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "US100":

  • From Bad Meets Evil: "Bad Meets Evil Album & Song Chart History: Hot 100". Billboard. Prometheus Global Media. Retrieved May 15, 2012.
  • From Recovery (Eminem album): "Eminem Album & Song Chart History: Hot 100". Billboard. Prometheus Global Media. Retrieved December 31, 2011.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT 17:03, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

In the "Allegations of homophobia" subheading under the "Controversies" heading, the link for Eminem's song "Fall" is currently linking to the page about autumn, the season. It should instead link to Fall, the Eminem song which is found here Fall (Eminem song) - Wikipedia 2403:580D:6DCD:0:7668:FD6F:4C56:77B2 (talk) 03:08, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
