You (TV series) and Lifetime
[edit]Describing You (TV series) as a "Lifetime" TV series is fully correct – Lifetime developed the series, and the first season originally aired on Lifetime first. The fact the Lifetime subsequently cancelled the series, and it was picked up by Netflix, does not change the salient fact that the series is a "Lifetime series" (i.e. see WP:RECENTISM).
Once the second season is released on Netflix, then we could change the prose to say something like "...in the 2018 Lifetime and Netflix television series You...", but frankly that is almost certainly pointless, as Lail will likely not be in season #2, and thus won't be in the "Netflix season" of the series.
So, the current "...in the 2018 Lifetime television series You..." wording is fully correct, esp. in terms of Lail's participation in the show, and should not be changed. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:20, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
