Manchester United trial

[edit]

According to The Observer today, Murphy has claimed that he was never on trial with Manchester United, but this website claims that he played one match for the club's Junior B team against Rochdale in October 1994. While it is possible that it was a different Danny Murphy who played in the match, I find that to be quite improbable, especially given the fact that this Danny Murphy would have been the right age for a trial period in October 1994 and plays in the same position as the Danny Murphy who played in the match. I realise that the website I mentioned may not be considered reliable, despite the fact that it is a collation of official records from club yearbooks and the like, so I will try to procure a copy of the appropriate yearbook myself. – PeeJay 20:04, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gapko / Gakpo controversy at Euro 2024

[edit]

Merits further discussion about whether this is made even more prominent in the main page given the level of importance of these current events. 84.247.42.62 (talk) 17:47, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Have WP:reliable sources, for example major newspapers, covered this? We would need a reference from a reliable source for the content to be deemed worthy of inclusion per WP:DUE. I haven't seen anything yet… Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 19:37, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
