Blatant self promotion

[edit]

This article along with Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation have been written with a clear POV by editors with what seems to be a connection to the subject. Nearly all the edits are from usernames with something to do with "Arms control", IPs out of D.C. and "Bnolan88" a likely account for Bridget Nolan, the Outreach Coordinator for both groups. Furthermore the actual text is written like a press release or "About us" section on an organizational website. All of the pictures used in the two articles are labeled as "Council photo" and were uploaded by the same user as the copyright holder. It's clear both articles were written by either an employee or supporter. I will begin to rectify the situation in both articles and advice or insight from other established editors would be welcome. I concur! Isn't the Council for a Livable World a communist front organization? There is no mention of "The Enemies Within" to provide a full and balanced encyclopedia article. My first impression was that the article is a press release. No mention either of Senators supported by the organization, either. IMHO, the article should be replaced with a link to the Council's web site. Hpfeil (talk) 00:12, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing

[edit]

Absolutely love that when it's a leftist non-profit wikipedia just links directly to their website as a citation for how Principled and Wonderful they are. Primary sources rules? Oh, we don't apply those to party members. 207.32.162.180 (talk) 10:47, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
