Major edit proposed
[edit]A review article appeared last year: X. G. Wu, An exponential growth of computational phantom research in radiation protection, imaging, and radiotherapy: a review of the fifty-year history, Phys. Med. Biol. 59 (2014) R233–R302. I will revise this wikipedia entry on the basis of the information in this review article. Further, I will correct and add to the information about the Virtual Family phantoms, which were mainly developed at the IT'IS Foundation in Zurich Switzerland, and add a section about Switzerland under the heading Advancements in voxel phantom design by country.PLBounds (talk) 11:06, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
