Location & status

[edit]

The section on 'location' is rather uninformative, unless you happen to know where the Inyo Mountains or Owens Valley is located. Or have a mental map of lat/lon and read the coordinates tag...

Clicking on the former tells me that this is eastern California, US. The article should say so - and like many other articles, include a small map to locate the site.

A recent tweet https://twitter.com/acooray states: "As a result of NSF MSIP rejection CARMA will cease operations next year, unless private funds are located (unlikely)" - article owner might contact him for a reference to substantiate.

Even better than a "mental map of lat/lon" is a visual one! Click the image in the "Coordinates" tag and watch the magic happen.
