As I am only now a medical student, I do not consider myself an authority. But, the article states that clopamide works similarly to a thiazide diuretic and then states that the mechanism of action is to inhibit the Na-Cl co-transporter in the proximal convoluted tubule. Thiazide diuretics, as a class, inhibit the Na-Cl co-transporter of the distal convoluted tubule. It seems to me that the article information is, at the moment, incorrect.
