Means of address - there are two different ones here. As far as I am aware, the proper form of address for the Knight is to use Sir plus Firstname. Kert01 11:58, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Correct: "Sir Chay" or "Sir Chay Blyth", never "Sir Blyth". — Johan the Ghost seance 16:00, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a category for British Knights, but I am not sure which one! Category:British_knights Kert01 12:12, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the link above to ":Category..." (note initial colon), which is how you link to a category, rather than placing the page in the category. I assume this is what you wanted here.

Thanks for that, I wasn't sure about that. Kert01 09:17, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The category we want is "Knights Commander of the British Empire". Note that this replaces "Commanders of the British Empire", since his knighthood means that he has been elevated from "Commander" to "Knight Commander". Similarly, "Sir Chay Blyth CBE" is now wrong, and should be "Sir Chay Blyth KBE". BEM is still a separate award, AFAIK. I've corrected the wording for the CBE to what I think is technically right — "made a Commander", not "awarded a CBE" (though the latter form is widespread). — Johan the Ghost seance 16:00, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
