Self-published source
[edit]User:JzG: You removed a self-published source. However, the author of the particular self-published book, Wayne Lott, was the president of the Society for the Preservation of Oral Health, which would seem to qualify him as a subject matter expert, consistent with Wikipedia's policy on self-published sources. Also, you removed a reference to the Journal of the History of Dentistry, which certainly is a scholarly journal. Please reconsider your edits to this article. Thank you! - It seems to me that a self-published source is not sufficient for striking claims such as the significance of an eponymous method of flossing. Guy (Help!) 18:45, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
