The obituary cited in the article says the spelling was changed at some point: it begins "Celestine", and later says, "in 1970, when her first name was still spelled Cellestine". It doesn't say when the spelling was supposed to have changed. But anyway there is some element of WP:NAMECHANGES here. Adumbrativus (talk) 07:44, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Weak oppose. No evidence of common name. While ngrams show a slight preference for the old name, I'm inclined to respect the subject's wishes when there is no reason to disregard them. Celia Homeford (talk) 10:39, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
