No Buddhist Universities in Canada

[edit]

There are no listed Buddhist Universities in Canada. What's with that? SimplyJessica 20:58, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure we'd be happy to list them, but I don't know of any. Do you? -- Charlie (Colorado) 22:37, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But the article is titled "Buddhist universities in the United States and CANADA".... What gives? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.102.34 (talk) 06:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mention of Canada should be removed, since no Canadian institutions are listed directly, nor are there any if you follow the external link.

Maharishi Central??

[edit]

I don't think that's a Buddhist institution. The Maharishi was a Hindu. -- Charlie (Colorado) 22:38, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

okay, followed the link, and the article connects it with John Hegelin and the "unified field theory", but no connection to Buddhism. I commented out the entry for now in case someone can make a better case for it. -- Charlie (Colorado) 22:42, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
