I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:43, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
- No DABs
- Connection errors on two external links.
- I'm not seeing these.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- I can connect manually to all of these except the Western Daily press which requires a subscription. So add "|subscription=yes" to the cite template.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:16, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- It already says "via = British Newspaper Archive|subscription=yes" in the citation template.— Rod talk 13:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry, I didn't look at the citation to see if it was there, I was just using the link checker.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:47, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

- Loink rotative beam pumping engine, suction tanks, trout rearing, sewer
- rotative beam pumping engine -> Beam engine, not sure what to link "suction tank" to? trout linked, sewers -> Sanitary sewer.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Me neither, but I think that you could clarify it to say that the suction tanks of the pumping engines and that would be good enough.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 12:55, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Added.— Rod talk 13:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Move that bit to first mention in the lede.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:47, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Done.— Rod talk 13:51, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

- 8,456,000,000 litres (1.860×109 imp gal; 2.234×109 US gal) Add adj=on to the template to put it in its proper adjectival form.
- Done.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Not there, it's not adjectival the way that you phrased that sentence. I meant in the lede: The 8,456,000,000 litres (1.860×109 imp gal; 2.234×109 US gal) lake still provides The quantity describes the lake and acts like an adjective.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 12:55, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry - now done.— Rod talk 13:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

- It is a hard water area which is susceptible to eutrophication with transient stratification in the summer. As a result, a research programme has been established to observe and measure the limnology of This is very jargony even though you've linked all the main terms. Can you rewrite this a little more simply while keeping the links for readers who want to investigate further?
- I've tried to explain this.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Here's my attempt. Note that I'm not sure that an algal bloom is what actually happens, but it is a bit more familiar to the average reader than phytoplankton buildup. And how important is the stratification? "It is a hard water area with high mineral content that is vulnerable to eutrophication in the summer, that can cause algal blooms, with transient water layers." Feel free to tweak this as you see fit.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:16, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- I've used your version. I'm not an expert in this but my reading of the source is that the layers (stratification) affects the build up - but could be removed.— Rod talk 13:36, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- I don't know the science of algal blooms/phytoplankton buildup either, but I don't that I have strong feelings about the phrase either.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:47, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

- Done.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

- 212.7 hectares (526 acres), notified in 1971 what does notified mean? Created?
- It is when the Secretary of State signs the document to designate it as a Site of Special Scientific Interest - not sure how to word that.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- I think that created works well enough.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:16, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

- In the ecology section you're using semi-colons instead of the full colons appropriate for the lists that follow.
- Hopefully done.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- The section should group the plants and animals together, so move the orchids to the end of the first paragraph and the mammals up with the birds and insects.
- Done.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Be consistent about using title case in your bibliography.
- Did you mean "Blagdon Lake Birds" in the ext links? If so done.— Rod talk 18:28, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Nope, Wilson, et al.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:16, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
