Unreliable source

[edit]

I just perfomred a cleanup and reformatting of the article, and I cited one of the two inline sources as unreliable. Here's why.

Dread Central is a blog devoted to alleged ghost phenomena and exploitation films. It makes no claim at historical accuracy, and does not cite its sources. The few tidbits of historical info are shuffled in with passages like this:

From behind you, all around you, voices whisper and talk in a strange language. Footsteps rush through the underbrush. You search but come to the sudden realization that you are alone, and the owners of the voices and running feet are not there, but echoes of history replaying.

This, IMO, is not the sort of source we need to support an article about an actual historical event. It wears its lack of rigour on its sleeve, so to speak, and its goal is not to present historical facts but to titillate people who believe in ghosts. 98.231.237.15 (talk) 14:52, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
