Hale & Pace show
[edit]I have added reference to her early acting in the Hale & Pace show, mostly because nowhere else (*cough*imdb*cough) has this information. She was definitely in series 1, but I am not sure about later series. It should be noted that she used bad language in the sketches she participated in, so anyone who's a fan of hers needs to know this if they're offended by it...it was early in her career and I guess she was glad of the money and fame :-)
she has also been in tv series summerhill

East 15 to Salford is a bit of a schlep, isn't it?
[edit]The article states that she was in rep in Salford while training in Essex. I think that's a misunderstanding. The cited article about Salford isn't retrievable. DavidFarmbrough (talk) 17:19, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- This is sourced from a transcript of a transatlantic telephone interview between Badland and Celebrity Café (to promote a new TV channel, Britbox). There is introductory chat about how difficult to hear the connection is, before Badland's early career is discussed. The source has Badland: I did weekly reps, which means you do a different play every week in a seaside town called Salford.
#Salford isn't a seaside town.
- A the time Badland was working at Scarborough (The Stephen Joseph Theatre). This is at the seaside, although still a long way from East 15 Acting School (Greater London, BTW, not strictly Essex).
- Given that the transcript has other phonetic errors (e.g., "Aldridge Theatre", for "Aldwych Theatre) it looks as though this is another.
I propose to delete this and add "Scarborough", cited from her agent's web page.

- Deep apologies, that's all rubbish. It was rep at Southwold Summer Theatre, which wouldn't clash with term-time at E15. When I've got the source right (it's from the Daily Telegraph) I'll try again. "Aldridge Theatre" removed.--217.155.32.221 (talk) 21:40, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
