[edit]Although "Alipay.com is a third-party online payment platform with no transaction fees", because other website could also implement alipay as its method of payment, if the transaction take place outside of alibaba's subsidiary platforms, alipay can take a commission for the transactions that uses alipay[1]. For example, if you open up your own online shopping mall and use alipay as one of its payment method, and a customer pays using alipay, a certain percentage of the transaction will be deducted as commission based on the service package that was bought for the website.
Perhaps it would be better worded to say something along the lines of no transaction fees within the alibaba environment?

Alipay (payment platform) → Alipay.com – It does not make sense to have the '(payment platform)' specification in the name. This should either be at Alipay, but seen the first bolding in the page, at Alipay.com. I do note that Alipay is now a disambig, but not really for the terms, as the 'other' Alipay has been renamed. Also, both terms there are very closely related, and not suitable for disambiguation (in the old situation). Dirk Beetstra T C 09:15, 24 November 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. - I think that this article should be changed to Alipay, and that the current Alipay should be changed to something like Alipay (disambiguation). Alipay.com seems inappropriate to me because the business is not branded as that, from what I can tell by looking at its website. NYCRuss ☎ 17:05, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- Support alternative: Alipay (payment platform) → Alipay per WP:COMMONNAME, a hatenote can be left at the top of this page to direct anyone looking for Ant Financial Services Group. Ebonelm (talk) 21:23, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- Support Alipay. Dicklyon (talk) 06:31, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- Support move to Alipay per WP:COMMONNAME – a disambiguation page is inconvenient and unnecessary for this situation. CookieMonster755 𝚨-𝛀 22:12, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
