[edit]Alexandra Burke Discography → Alexandra Burke discography — No capital letter in 'discography', I remember reading Wikipedia rules about capital letters. Codywarren08 (talk) 19:58, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Done.
Poland
[edit]Bad boys achieved number 1 in Poland. why is this not included. Also ive noticed that some of her highest chartings have been excluded.
- there are no reliable sources for the polish charts. what countries do you think should be there then? Mister sparky (talk) 21:14, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Alexandra confirmed the number 1 on her twitter account when it reached number 1!!! well if you go into the bad boys page you see that there are a few top 5s that are included for bad boys and they are not present in the Alexandra Burke discography page. Bad boys went to number 3 in the Czech republic! 4 in Hungary and Slovakia! I think they should be included anyways! Thanks for taking the time to reply to my suggestion!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.94.151.201 (talk) 16:07, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
Hallelujah and Hero
[edit]Hero reached platinum status
Hallelujah reached DOUBLE platinum status
why are they the wrong way round ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.27.51.18 (talk) 11:02, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- the uk certifications are correct to the bpi database. they are the certifiers, so they are correct. Mister sparky (talk) 23:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Certifications
[edit]You got all the certification wrong !!
The official chart website doesnt update and makes mistakes alot !!
SINGLES
200K - silver 400K - gold 600K - platinum
Hallelujah - 1,200,000 + (this makes it 2!!! X platinum) Bad Boys - 650,000 + (PLATINUM !) Broken Heels - 270,000 + (silver !) All Night Long - 210,000 + (Silver !)
I'm not sure about hero and everybody hurts but i know hero is platinum, NOT 2x platinum, it did not reach 1 million sales so how could it be double platinum !
Overcome is double platinum aswell as its surpassed 600,000 sales coz albums are platinum at 300,000
please this is correct information so USE IT !! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.128.173.16 (talk) 18:16, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- the certifications are correct to the bpi's database. they are the certifiers. it doesn't matter how much they have apparently sold, uk certifications are for shipments to retailers, not sales to the public. Mister sparky (talk) 17:59, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
BUT HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR HERO TO BE 2X PLATINUM- IT MUST HAVE SOLD 1.2 MILLION COPIES IN THE UK WHICH IT CLEARLY DIDNT AS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BIG NEWS IF IT SURPASSED 1 MILLION !!!!
YOUVE EVEN SAID IN THE INTRO TO THE PAGE THAT HALLELUJAH SOLD MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION SO ITS 2 TIMES PLATINUM
bpi database does not update their certifications. They will give the certification of a single after a certain amount of time and if a single has passed another certification after a long time they do not update. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.154.75.39 (talk) 19:41, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- record companies have to pay for certifications. if they don't pay, they're not awarded. simples. Mister sparky (talk) 20:58, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
just because it has passed these milestones does not automaticlly mean they are silver they have too be officially certified first — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.13.88.143 (talk) 21:28, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
Charts
[edit]I think Scottland should be added into here, now they have their own charts, and Alexandra has had 3 numbers ones there, with Hallelujah, Bad Boys and All Night Long and Broken Heels charted at number 3!--SitDownOnIt (talk) 17:49, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- if they hadn't charted on the main UK singles/albums chart then yes i'd agree, but as they have then no. Mister sparky (talk) 18:02, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- I think you need to check the Scottish charts, they have charted in Scottland, not on UK singles, hence why Scottish Single have their own page, and there have been different number 1s to the UK. + All Night Long didn't chart at number 1 in the UK, and Broken Heels didn't chart at number 3!--SitDownOnIt (talk) 18:04, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- i think you're the one that's confused. all of her singles have charted on the UK Singles Chart, that is why the scottish singles chart is not included in the discography table. the scottish singles chart is a component of the uk singles chart, the same way that scotland is a compont of the uk. Mister sparky (talk) 18:09, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Has there been a consensus on the Scottish charts yet? I'm sure some people were saying it was a component and shouldn't be allowed, but because others said Scotland is a country, it's therefore a national chart and allowed. AnemoneProjectors 20:49, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- scotland is a country, but it is a component country of the united kingdom, of which the national chart is the uk singles chart/album chart. if a song/album didnt chart on the main uk singles/album chart then it can be used, but not if it did. Mister sparky (talk) 21:50, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Start Without You
[edit]Someone had created a page for start without you and then it was deleted. I can't see why because there is plenty of information that can easily be sourced for the song. Or was there some breach of rules with regards to the page i'm not aware of. also in the singles discography it should be start without you featuring laza morgan —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roryk1990 (talk • contribs)
- The song fails the WP:NSONGS guildeline because it hasn't charted. Once it charts, can have an article. AnemoneProjectors 17:08, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
All Night Long
[edit]Just wondering why someone took down the Austrailian charting for All Night Long? It charted at number 48 and Austrailia is a major teritory so just thought that it should still be included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.94.148.131 (talk) 22:54, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
