I am Allan 'Al' Feuerbach
[edit]I have never contributed to this page before but do have an addition to make and another update about present work. the addition is: USA Olympic Style Weightlifting National Champion 1974 , 242lb class. Date: June 9th. Place: York,Pa. Lifts: Snatch 341 3/4lbs. ( 155Kgs.) Clean & Jerk 418 3/4lbs. (190Kgs.) for a total of 760lbs. (345Kgs.) my reference came from the Aug-Sept 1974 vol 42 No. 7 issue of Strength & Health Magazine ( now out of publication )in which Bob Hoffman reported on the USA Championships. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_men%27s_national_weightlifting_champions Of significance is the fact that 13 days later on June 22nd in Westwood , Ca. ( UCLA ) I was USA National Champ in Shot Put ( Track & Field ) with a throw of 70'9 3/4" as referenced in Track & Field News July 1974 issue vo.27, no 11, Garry Hill writing the report. Two National Titles in two separate sports in 13 days.
My update is about my later work life and though I do work for CNBC I am free lance and worked with CBS News and CBS 60 Minutes , as well as NFL Films for over 30 years. Working in 60 countries around the world , including Somalia , Iraq , & Bosnia in times of conflict.
Sincerely , Al Feuerbach Alfirebrook@aol.com2601:647:C980:9500:DD50:78D9:FB57:A89B (talk) 19:05, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
