[edit]this looks like an advertisement page.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.138.113.29 (talk) 06:47, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
nope this is all factual 99.236.231.246 (talk) 17:13, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
I agree, this is definitely worded like an advertisement, with expressions like "unique", "a flying camera" outlined in italic and "Unlike many other UAVs in this class, the Scout [is] ruggedized and wind sealed" which is not true (most commercial mini/micro UAVs are weather proof as a matter of course, including quadcopters. Many hobbyist quadcopters are not however, but those are irrelevant as comparisons). This is not encyclopedic language. The first sentence in the article is either a blatant attempt to sell the unmanned system or a fan-boyish statement, both of which are inappropriate. Also, factual expressions - while probably true - are peppered with positive adjectives.
"The vehicle can be operated beyond the line of sight up to 3 kilometres (1.9 miles) from the user..." This statement must be wrong, unless the UAV has a satellite transceiver enabling it to communicate without line of sight for RF communications. The seller - sorry, article author - probably meant "beyond visual range" which is entirely different, probably just a few hundred meters for a craft of this small size, rather than at least 10-15 km of typical line of sight for the RF signals (depending on the aircraft altitude of course).

- This looked very much like it was written by the company PR department, but I have re-written it to correspond with Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/page content. - Ahunt (talk) 15:49, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
