Hello, I have been working on compiling information on where the players are today. Someone deleted it citing that it was not relevant to the article. I do not know how it isn't relevant as many of these players went on to do great things not just basketball-related. All of which were essential in the team's success that season. When people look at this article I think it's important that the have some insight into where they are now. I am a avid cougars fan, my brother served as head manager for the team and the majority of the team are his best friends. This section is important to them, its important to tell these stories. Anyways if the guy comes and deletes it, I wanted to post the information here in case anyone was curious or wanted to continue my work.

'Where are they now? Due to their success as a team in the 2017-2018 season, many players would go on to achieve great things on and off the court. Coaching Staff: Earl Grant(Head Coach): Due to his success coaching the Cougars in March of 2021, Grant was hired as the new men's head basketball coach at Boston College.[3] Milan Brown(Assistant): Coach Brown was hired by Pitt following the 2018 season, he now serves as their Associate Head Coach.[4] Quinton Ferrell(Assistant): Following his tenure with the Cougars, Coach Ferrell was hired by his alma-matter Presbyterian College to be its next Head Coach in 2019.[5] Matt Braeuer(Director of Basketball Operations): In the summer of 2018 Braeuer was hired by North Texas as an Assistant Coach. [6] Players: Jarrell Brantley: Brantley was selected 50th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft. He currently plays in the Puerto Rican Basketball League. Grant Riller: Riller was selected 56th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets.[7] Brevin Galloway: Galloway transferred to Boston College in 2021 following his Head Coach Earl Grant. Following the 2022 season, Galloway is transferring yet again to the Clemson. [8] Nick Harris: Following his career as a player, Harris pursued a career in Law. He is set to graduate from the Charleston School of Law as a solicitor.[9] Evan Bailey: Bailey currently is a medical student at the Medical University of South Carolina with hopes of becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon.[9] Marquise Pointer: Pointer is now a professional photographer.[9] Cameron Johnson: Currently Works for the San Antonio Spurs under Greg Popovich; he is a practice player and does video coordination.[9] Joe Chealey: Signed as an unrestricted free agent following the 2018 season by the Charlotte Hornets, he now plays for their G League affiliate the Greensboro Swarm.[9] Patel, Niraj (2021-03-15). I agree with Discospinster's revert, Drew-Friedman. This is an encyclopedia article about the team during those years. "Where are they now?" content is more suited for a retrospective magazine article. Schazjmd (talk) 23:31, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
