Tottenham withdrawal

[edit]

What rule did Tottenham breach? -Koppapa (talk) 12:35, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

According to "Spursman18" on a Spurs website...

"I think this is the rule we have fallen foul of......

3. Age Category

All eligible players shall belong to the following age category:

Each squad will consist of a maximum 18 players. All players must be born on or after January 1st 1993 although 3 players are allowed in the squad who are born on or after January 1st 1992. Only two of these three players born on or after January 2nd 1992 are allowed to play at any one time. The inclusion of the 3 older players is an ‘option’ for each participating club and not a stipulation.

This was our squad the other night with DOB's where relevant, all the others are born after Jan 93, the only one I cannot find anymore about is this Nabil Bentaleb......

Line-up:

Mile, Barthram (79), Stewart, Luongo (C) (Sept 92), Veljkovic, Nicholson (July 92), Gomelt (64), Pritchard, Coulibaly, Munns, Coulthirst Subs:Granger, Bentaleb (64), Ceballos (Dec 92), Ekong (79), Mcevoy, Angol

As Luongo and Nicholson are two "overage players" and both played the full 90mins, any subs that are overage would mean us breaking the rules. Ekong is not overage and Ceballos did not come onto play, that only leaves Bentaleb!!!" Villafancd (talk) 14:25, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
