Temporary full protection: Content dispute/edit warring – Repeated disruptive editing/edit warring from an editor after edits were contested, while such edits are under discussion at WT:MCU and Talk:Marvel Cinematic Universe in compliance with WP:BRD. - Fully protected for a period of three days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Case (talk) 05:49, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- While I respect the full protection, please note that discussion is not currently underway. It has been nearly 48 hours since the last response on the talk page which was in effect the user requesting protection stating that they did not want an edit that was well-sourced (according to precedent) and relevant to be present on the page without his personal input and ability to contextualize it with other sources. This is an ownership concern. I should not have to wait to put up a well-sourced fact that does not manipulate any details until the user can put his own spin on it using outside sources. - As I told Chima, I've been busy in life and in other editing areas, while also reviewing sources for commentary on this matter at large. I have since responded to their message. The full protection is to prevent further edit warring while upholding the WP:STATUSQUO. Trailblazer101 (talk) 06:06, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
- As I said before, I respect the full protection. What is a problem is you mischaracterizing my edits in order to obstruct any changes being made that you don't like. You say I'm invoking "alternate timelines" but I never did in my edit. The full scope of my edit was to state that Inhumans is not included in the official MCU timeline, which is true. You're obstructing it using the baseless rationale of "well the book only includes phases 1-4 and the shows aren't in any phase!" despite the fact that, immediately after explaining why movies and series from other storytellers and eras of Marvels aren't included, Kevin Feige explicitly describes the book as the full end to end history of the MCU.
