- Three Israeli civilians are killed and sixteen injured in a mass shooting in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem. Two Palestinian gunmen are shot and killed by security forces. An armed civilian who shot the Palestinian attackers, Yuval Doron Castleman, is mistaken for an attacker and is also shot dead. Hamas claims responsibility for the attack.
