Margan-e Qadim (Persian: مرگن قديم)[a] was a village in Qarah Quyun-e Jonubi Rural District of the former Showt District of Maku County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 747 in 157 households.[2]
After the census, the villages of Margan-e Azizabad, Margan-e Esmail Kandi, Margan-e Qadim, and Margan-e Vasat merged to form the new city of Marganlar, capital of Qarah Quyun District in the newly established Showt County.[4]
