Hallettsville Independent School District is a public school district based in Hallettsville, Texas (USA).[1]

Located in Lavaca County, very small portions of the district extend into Colorado and Jackson counties.[2] It covers the Vysehrad Independent School District for high school.[3]

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[4]
