Thanks - the first five years following my diagnosis i spent actively resarching what schizophrenia meant. it was first coined as 'the schizophrenias' by a humanist doctor as it was previously referred to as s kind of dementia - however it has assumed many negative connotations since. the link between autism and schizophrenia is a promising one as you couldn't possibly get two more diametrically opposed labels in terms of public perception. Some of the original schizophrenias were hebophrenia - from the greek god hebes associated with onset in adolescence , apophenia meaning relating one unconnected thing with another etc etc , however the name has become homogenised over the recent years - there are of course links with previous hypotheses such as the bicameral mind and up and coming theories such as 'unfocussed semantic activation in the right hemisphere of the brain'. i have made a FOIA request to the bbc regarding which WHO ICD classification each criminal that a news story was reported on with a diagnosis of schizophrenia in the previous six months had and recieved the response that they could not disclose this due to patient confidentiality unless it was reported in the open courts which was highly unlikely. i have forwarded their response to the research and information compliance dpeartment of the courts to ask them to consider this. i beleive the next ICD classification is due to be released in 2011/2012 and i intend to continue my campaign for the change of this damaging label till then. I am also a qualified social worker , i was registered unconditionally. Where is the tilde on an apple mac keyboard?? §§§§ lol. i have a pc-keyboard now set to British-PC and still have a mac. The article Alternative perception spectrum has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This is a non-existant disorder or label. I searched in quotes for "Alternative perception spectrum" and brought up no reliable sources which even mentioned this proposed alternative name for schizophrenia so the article name is origional research and original thought.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Literaturegeek | T@1k? 09:53, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Quite along time ago , I moved my musings on this matter to a blog page called notes from the alternative perception spectrum [2] Darwinerasmus (talk) 08:19, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Alternative perception spectrum
I have nominated Alternative perception spectrum, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alternative perception spectrum. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Social model of disability
I think we can give each other a pat on the back for how we've tidied up the article. We rock! Roger (talk) 07:00, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- I've requested Peer Review, I believe it deserves at least a Class B rating. Let's see what an outsider thinks of it. Roger (talk) 07:25, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
I agree it was some good teamwork , however i think the format of the references still needs some cleanup and i just realised i made an error in citing statistics - which should read approx one fifth of working age adults were disabled in 2001 - ill correct that now and if i have time see about getting those odd poi type references sorted. (Darwinerasmus (talk) 21:09, 21 October 2010 (UTC)).
Merge discussion for Medical model of disability
An article that you have been involved in editing, Medical model of disability , has been proposed for a merge with another article. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going here, and adding your comments on the discussion page. Thank you. Tcp-ip (talk) 01:06, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
I haven't logged in for quite a while due to other commitments and appeared to have missed this debate entirely ,though i approve of the outcome. I have also just caught up on the peer review of social model of disability page and will give that some attention when i have the time. Darwinerasmus (talk) 18:19, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

- You seem to have anticipated my prod by creating User:Darwinerasmus/Language wheel. So I have concentrated all your edits there. Needless to say, do not move the article back into (article) space until it is properly referenced. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:48, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
That Baltic thing
I've reverted you.
1. Truthfall.com doesn't meet our criteria as a reliable source, see WP:RS
2. You've copied material from that source directly into our article, which is a WP:Copyright violation. See also WP:PARAPHRASE. And note that from a short article, if you want to quote it, the quote itself has to be very very short. I'll have to delete it from your userspace also at some point.
3. The tone made the article, in Wikipedia's voice, present the claims as fact, which we can't do - see WP:NPOV.
Sorry about all this, as I found when I was new and still find, editing Wikipedia isn't as easy as it seems at first! Dougweller (talk) 18:05, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks i admit that last one was a bit of a lazy edit. I've taken your comments on board in the edit i made today on the article having read the above guidance and hope we can agree on contributing to this article together rather than entering into an edit war. If you have further dispute with my additions , can i request you post your contentions on the articles talk page and we look to resolve them there rather than reverting and deleting the whole thing. Speedy deletion nomination of Orginum
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Orginum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 18:48, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Reputational Currency
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Reputational Currency, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- The page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. (See section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I understand the reason now that I was blocked , I had posted un-encycloepedic content and not referenced it , although it was mostly small intangible comments on matters that I had taken an interest in , that are perhaps more suited to a theoretical or research wiki.i apologise whole-heartedly if this has damaged the reputation of wikipedia.org , where I have also made many small edits here and there on matters that interest me , co-re written the page on the social model of disability etc and request that I am unblocked so I am able to contribute further in a sensible manner , as the majority of my edits are.
