Roman bronze statuette at the Cabinet des Médailles

Sluzzelîn means little key in Middle High German. I met this word a long time ago. It's part of a famous 12th century Minnelied, the author of which is unknown.

Good Humour Rusty Award
I, MacGyverMagic, hereby award you with the barnstar for Good Humor for your comment "I'd like to help you out, but my chemistry is rusty." to the question what you'd get when mixing iron and oxygen. I almost spit out my drink over my keyboard. - Mgm

Keen Eyesight Award
I hereby bestow upon Sluzzelin the Eye of the Octupus Barnstar for Excellent Vision. Sluzzelin's practice of deftly identifying works of art based on only the marginal recollections of visitors to the Humanities Reference Desk is extremely impressive. Bravo! --Sean 14:31, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Thanks for politely correcting me and for watching my back afterwards. Sorry this barnstar isn't as creative as some you've been given. Bbb23 (talk) 22:49, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

OK, Herr K., that deserves this:

Our motto: "It's only hard if you make it hard"

The PENISS Prize
On behalf of the People Encouraging Niceness (and/or Eschewing Nastiness) In Society Society, I hereby award you the PENISS Prize.

The prize is the highest (and sole) honour in the gift of the Society and is awarded irregularly, on merit. It entitles the awardee to the postnominal letters P.E.N.I.S.S. (in appropriate contexts, of course).

It confers automatic membership of the Society, and it thus bestows the power to award the prize to others*, and they to others, in perpetuity. .

Remember, the more PENISSes in the world, the better for all of us. What a nice thought. Please continue your good work!

* To present this award to others, simply type {{subst:User:JackofOz/PENISS}} on their talk page, and then sign and date your post.

Congratulations. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 22:21, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Merry Christmas from Santa's little helpers! What can it be? A royal pie? A toy car? A stuffed camel? A guitar? Fireworks? A stink bomb? darwinfish, darwinbish BITE 12:45, 21 December 2014 (UTC).

Regarding the AGF hat, part 2

[edit]

Happening to notice the mention of an AGF hat above, I assumed at first that you had been awarded one. None more deserving! But it wasn't so, so here it is at last.

The AGF hat
You have been awarded the splendid AGF hat for your exemplary assumption of good faith without allowing it to become a suicide pact. I hope you will wear it always. (In really cold weather, I suppose you may prefer the coral teacosy.) Bishonen | talk 20:52, 17 January 2015 (UTC).
Thank you for reflecting the Gerechtigkeitsspirale!

Did you know ... that a church's 1510 spiral of justice declares: "Justice suffered in great need. Truth is slain dead. Faith has lost the battle"?

The poem ends with "Praise the right thing".
