Hello, thank you for your edit to Vermont. I noticed when you linked Montpelier, you linked what is known as a disambiguation page. What you meant to link was the article for Vermont's capital city, which is at Montpelier, Vermont. You can make the link still say "Montpelier" by using a piped link. Happy editing! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Konsento
added a link pointing to Atsushi Watanabe
New Hampshire Department of Transportation
added a link pointing to Department of Administrative Services

USCGC Tiger (WSC-152) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, USCGC Tiger (WSC-152), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Control copyright icon Hello SavageRainbow! Your additions to Snowmass (ski area) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 00:40, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Thanks for your work with the USCGC Tiger article! I'm glad to see more love for the Active boats. I'm working on a few other articles of the same type, so we could possibly coordinate to avoid stepping on each other's toes. Welcome to Wikipedia :)GGOTCC (talk) 18:57, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of Dying Light 2 Stay Human cast requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. sock puppet

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

SavageRainbow (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Hello, I am SavageRainbow, I did not mean to brake any rules. I was just creating an article, then I clicked publish so it would save my progress. I Then went back to editing, but when I clicked publish again it said "This article was removed by an Administrator", so I checked the box saying "To continue with this article check the box", then I did some more editing, then clicked publish. I was then blocked from editing, because I am a "Sock Puppet" even though im not. I don't even know who that person is.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=Hello, I am SavageRainbow, I did not mean to brake any rules. I was just creating an article, then I clicked publish so it would save my progress. I Then went back to editing, but when I clicked publish again it said '''"This article was removed by an Administrator"''', so I checked the box saying "To continue with this article check the box", then I did some more editing, then clicked publish. I was then blocked from editing, because I am a ''"Sock Puppet"'' even though im not. I don't even know who that person is. |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=Hello, I am SavageRainbow, I did not mean to brake any rules. I was just creating an article, then I clicked publish so it would save my progress. I Then went back to editing, but when I clicked publish again it said '''"This article was removed by an Administrator"''', so I checked the box saying "To continue with this article check the box", then I did some more editing, then clicked publish. I was then blocked from editing, because I am a ''"Sock Puppet"'' even though im not. I don't even know who that person is. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=Hello, I am SavageRainbow, I did not mean to brake any rules. I was just creating an article, then I clicked publish so it would save my progress. I Then went back to editing, but when I clicked publish again it said '''"This article was removed by an Administrator"''', so I checked the box saying "To continue with this article check the box", then I did some more editing, then clicked publish. I was then blocked from editing, because I am a ''"Sock Puppet"'' even though im not. I don't even know who that person is. |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}
