Please try to use the Show Preview button instead of making tons of little changes in a single article. My screen was literally filled with changes in the "List of BTTF characters" article. Thanks. -- Lyverbe (talk) 11:12, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Enough with those 100 per day changes on the BTTF articles. You're flooding our watchlists. Learn to use Wikipedia correctly and USE SHOW PREVIEW. -- Lyverbe (talk) 01:41, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:All the Way (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:All the Way (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 21:09, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Back to the Future characters, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Mike Watson and Sean Sullivan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sorry, there is nothing we can do. We already tried to resort this reasonably, but you've broke your promise and calling us bullies, NAZI's, and me personally illiterate and accused me of sock puppetting. There is nothing we can do for you at this point because of your personal behavior. You've been warned before, and you are getting what you get. A tag has been placed on File:Batman The Dark Knight Returns (film) (standard editions).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I spit on your grave 2 edits

Thanks. I started cleaning it up earlier, but it was getting late and I was fatigued. The article looked like the editor isn't a native English speaker. Again, thanks for the help.Wzrd1 (talk) 04:41, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I started, but both ran out of gas and also was distracted by my father, due to his dementia. Add in two hours of sleep last night, I figured I'd save it for another day. Hopefully, Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests will help. I'm beat, he's finally asleep, so I'll try to get at least four hours sleep, hopefully more.Wzrd1 (talk) 04:48, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
True enough. I was first just fixing the grammar and some spelling errors, then figured on paring it down. No need for a blow by blow of every plot tangle. Well, off to bed.Wzrd1 (talk) 04:50, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted three changes by you to categories involving Category:Intersex. Intersex is a biological phenomenon, not a sexuality or sexual behaviour. This is verifiable by reading the (well cited) article intersex. This includes your adding Category:Novels about intersex‎ to Category:Sexuality in novels, Category:Fictional intersex people to Category:Fictional characters by sexual behavioral attribute and Category:Intersex in fiction to Category:Sexuality in fiction. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:A Deadly Secret(連城訣).jpg

Thank you for uploading File:A Deadly Secret(連城訣).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:29, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hilary Duff, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wings (film) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Roy Harper (Colton Haynes).jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Roy Harper (Colton Haynes).jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 11:25, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You edits on Arrow pages

When adding new or changing content, please refrain from adding two spaces after periods to start new sentences. Wikipedia style policy is to only use one. If you add double spaces on a page that is all single space, the extra whitespace has a tendency to stick out. Thank you. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:17, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, please do not add two spaces after periods. It requires more work for other editors like myself to go in and fix your edits. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 20:32, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How does not comply? I got a more detailed explanation for why a previous file I uploaded had to be removed. Please give me the reason in good detail.Teridax122 (talk) 07:39, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reduced in size, understood, now any way, sorry I'm not used to everything enough yet to assume what you meant.Teridax122 (talk) 10:44, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Clark Kent

I put it on the League of CopyEditors page, as I have not read the comics yet and don't want to get too spoiled.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:01, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
