Welcomes & Wikis!

[edit source]

I realised after I hit save you were quite a bit more experienced than me - so sorry if it seemed odd. I tend to keep an eye on RC and when I see a red talk page the fingers move! Differences - neither of us have that long to live <g>. I moved from WP some time ago for all kinds of reasons but this place is interesting (only one of my "homes"). The pace is very different and takes some getting used to - policy here is different too as much does not exist and much that does is "open to interpretation".

I didn't know there was a "WikiProject Herbs and Spices" project - either here or there (same name) leave me a link I will at least look at it. Drinks I like - herbs I grow and use - catch you round - cheers --Herby talk thyme 13:47, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

BTW we don't use wiki links anything like as much here as wp - I did when I started and it was pointed out that these are "text books" (tho that does seem to be completely forgotten on some pages!). Cheers --Herby talk thyme 14:33, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hum - unless the link is duff the project has gone! Oddly I am a deletionist but for stuff that isn't of a quality (on here). There is some really stubby stuff and I know people may contribute but if they don't for too long then I think it sends the wrong messages. That said there is some strange stuff that goes and equally that stays. However the Bartending book is pretty well established (be warned, as I have removed some - I really am not a fan of external links and was a spam fighter in a previous incarnation!).
