- ½ cup raisins
- 3 cups evaporated milk
- 2 cups sweetened condensed milk
- ½ tsp salt (or 1 pinch)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 1 sweet potato (batata), cubed small
- Milk cookies
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Blend cooked beans, including the water they cooked in, into a purée.
- Strain beans into a pot in order to get rid of any skins.
- Mix in sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, salt, sugar, sweet potatoes, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
- Simmer over low heat until the sweet potatoes are fully cooked. Stir occasionally so that it will not stick on the bottom.

- Remove beans from heat.
- If you want, you may remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Serve beans in a bowl, and add milk cookies on top. You may serve warm or chilled.
