Better maps
editThis Boston Globe opinion piece points out that psychological studies have found that maps that show party strength with gradations of red and blue (as opposed to starkly 100% red and 100% blue) give readers a more accurate impression. Our electoral college maps could be improved along these lines. This site also notes various alternatives (which we sometimes use) for example using hexagons to represent electoral college votes, which are more proportional to the actual number of voters than land area is. -- Beland (talk) 23:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
