Welcome to WikiProject Phoenicia

edit

We are a collaborative group of dedicated Wikipedians who have come together to establish a WikiProject aimed at enhancing the organization of information within articles pertaining to the ancient Phoenician world. This includes articles and content related to the homeland of Phoenicia, Canaan and the Phoenician colonies and dependencies around the Mediterranean, such as Ancient Carthage. Your participation is highly encouraged, and we warmly invite you to join our efforts.

Our primary purpose is to foster a more structured and accurate representation of knowledge within the scope of Phoenicia, Canaan, and the Punic world on Wikipedia. By doing so, we aim to refine and 'weed out' misleading information that lacks support from current research. Our objective is to contribute to a comprehensive, well-researched, and nuanced portrayal of the ancient Phoenician civilization. Your engagement can make a significant impact in elevating the quality of content related to the Phoenician world on Wikipedia; feel free to explore our open tasks, where your contributions can make a valuable difference. Additionally, if you have any questions or suggestions, we encourage you to share them on our project's talk page.
