Please do not add or change content, as you did at PIT maneuver, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. win8x (talk) 22:00, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- I AM THE RELIABLE SOURCE. Dumbass.
- The PIT Maneuver IS NOT the Precision Immobilization Technique! That is RETARDED! A PIT Maneuver DOES NOT IMMOBILIZE the fleeing vehicle unless it is done INCORRECTLY. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 22:41, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- I was told at the FBI Academy that I would be able to edit the PIT Maneuver page and that I would be the only person authorized to do it. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 22:43, 15 December 2024 (UTC)
- The FBI Academy does not have control over a Wikipedia article. Information must have a reliable source. ... discospinster talk 00:02, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- User:discospinster, the FBI should have a class in editing Wikipedia. I hope they tell them to NOT write all that shit up in one single paragraph, and to make sure there are secondary sources. Teamnosleep, I'm also wondering if you are multiple editors, given your name. Drmies (talk) 00:42, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Wikipedia articles are not owned by a single person, and, even if you are personally qualified, you still need to provide sources so that other users can verify the information. Also, a lot of the content you added was made of personal anecdotes, which are not relevant. Also also, please don't use the R-word ever again. Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Pursuit Intervention Technique, you may be blocked from editing. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:47, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- I AM THE CREATOR OF THE PURSUIT INTERVENTION TECHNIQUE page. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 00:56, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Even if you are the creator, readers can't just take you at your word for this, so you will need published sources to support what you write. Also, the personal anecdotes you added aren't necessarily relevant for a Wikipedia page. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:58, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- My version makes SENSE. Theirs does not. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 01:03, 16 December 2024 (UTC)

- I am not having a dispute with anyone. I edited the PIT Maneuver page because the PIT Maneuver is the PURSUIT INTERVENTION TECHNIQUE not the Precision Immobilization Technique. It has always been the Pursuit Intervention Technique. This Precision Immobilization Technique junk is something someone made up in the last 3 years. But the creator of that page deleted my edit, so I created a new article that is for the Pursuit Intervention Technique. This is a separate article dedicated to the Pursuit Intervention Technique and had nothing to do with the Precision Immobilization Technique. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 01:01, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- I am the only source. It has not been published anywhere. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 01:02, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Then it does not belong on Wikipedia. Please see the Wikipedia:Verifiability policy. ... discospinster talk 01:05, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Well, in that case, it might be harder for other editors and readers to take you at your word. Things we published must be backed up by reliable sources. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 01:05, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- I don't care if they believe me or not. I am simply attempting to put the information out there and let them decide. Also, I do not see any personal anecdotes. Everything I wrote was factual. Also, 3 years ago I edited the PIT Maneuver page and added all this information and it stayed in there for 8 months without anyone complaining about it. For 8 months when you Googled "Who invented the PIT Maneuver?" The AI answer was "Senior Special Agent Eric James Morris of Athens GA". Then some jerk I know changed it to Sophie Nuveau who is a character in Angels and Demons. Teamnosleep1973 (talk) 01:11, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yes and it looks like you were warned before about adding information without sources, and then blocked for it. In that case you are also editing as a sockpuppet which is not allowed. ... discospinster talk 01:16, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
